لاہور: پنجاب کے ضلع جھنگ کی تحصیل اٹھارہ ہزاری میں منعقدہ جیپ ریلی کے دوران پنجاب انفورسمنٹ اینڈ ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی (پیرا) کی سرکاری گاڑی کی شرکت پر وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے سخت نوٹس لیتے ہوئے ڈپٹی کمشنر جھنگ بابر صاحب دین کو عہدے سے ہٹانے کا حکم دے دیا۔
میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق اٹھارہ ہزاری میں منعقدہ جیپ ریلی کے دوران پیرا فورس کی سرکاری گاڑی ایک کار ریلی کے ساتھ چلتی دکھائی دی، جس کی ویڈیو سوشل میڈیا پر وائرل ہوگئی۔ سوشل میڈیا پر دعویٰ کیا گیا کہ سرکاری گاڑی مسلم لیگ (ن) کے رکن پنجاب اسمبلی ثاقب چدھڑ کو پروٹوکول فراہم کرنے کے لیے استعمال کی جا رہی تھی۔
ویڈیو سامنے آنے پر وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز نے سرکاری گاڑی کے غیر متعلقہ سرگرمی میں استعمال کا نوٹس لیا اور اسے سرکاری وسائل کے ناجائز استعمال اور انتظامی نظم و ضبط کی خلاف ورزی قرار دیتے ہوئے کارروائی کی ہدایت کی۔
بعد ازاں پنجاب حکومت نے ڈپٹی کمشنر جھنگ بابر صاحب دین کو عہدے سے تبدیل کرکے محکمہ سروسز اینڈ جنرل ایڈمنسٹریشن میں رپورٹ کرنے کا حکم جاری کر دیا۔
واضح رہے کہ اٹھارہ ہزاری میں 16 سے 18 اکتوبر تک پہلی جھنگ ڈیزرٹ جیپ ریلی اور ثقافتی میلے کا انعقاد کیا گیا تھا، جس میں مختلف علاقوں سے ڈرائیوروں اور رائیڈرز نے شرکت کی۔

SUBJECT: MISUSE OF PERA DOUBLE CABIN VEHICLE
Reference to earlier instructions of this office regarding the distribution / allocation of official Double Cabin Vehicles of SDEOs of Tehsil Level Enforcement Stations of PERA.
2. It has been observed that PERA Double Cabin Vehicles issued to your good offices for PERA field operations exclusively, are being engaged in unauthorized activities / operations. Furthermore, some of you have handed over the said vehicles to ADCs etc., which is violation of the aforementioned instructions as well as official policy of PERA. Such practices are attracting unnecessary and unwarranted negative exposure of the Authority and public misperception.
3. In view of above, you are requested to retrieve / withdraw official vehicles of PERA from any unauthorized allocation and ensure that the said vehicles are safely parked at your camp offices until the posting of regular SDEOs of tehsil level ESs of PERA, which is expected by December 2026. The matter be assigned Top Priority.
